2nd Meeting of the German Local Business Advisory Council of the Sino-German Energy Partnership

The German Local Business Advisory Council is a closed-door event for German industry and government to discuss and exchange views on market challenges and opportunities. The meeting brings together council members to address emerging market developments and to identify actionable, non-binding recommendations that help improve the business environment in China’s energy and energy efficiency sectors. It is supported by the German Chamber of Commerce in Greater China (AHK). The German Local Business Advisory Council convenes on a frequent basis. The 1st council meeting took place in Beijing on 3 May 2018. The 2nd council meeting will be held in Shanghai prior to the annual working group meeting between BMWi and the National Energy Administration (NEA). Participants of the 2nd meeting can expect a general briefing on new strategic developments in the bilateral energy cooperation between Germany and China, a progress report on creating business opportunities through the Sino-German energy partnership and peer to peer exchange on market barriers and opportunities relevant to the German industry.
