Announcement: Winners of the “Sino-German Energy Efficiency Cooperation Projects Award” 2018

Five projects have been chosen as the winners of the 2018 “Sino-German Energy Efficiency Cooperation Projects Award”. A jury of Chinese and German experts selected the winners in accordance with the awards evaluation criteria. In case of any objections, we would kindly ask you to contact the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and ESCO Committee of China Energy Conservation Association (EMCA) before January 28, 2019.

The five projects and project partners honored with the Sino-German Energy Efficiency Cooperation Projects Award 2018 are:

Passive House Technologies Center (PHTC) Project in the Sino-German Eco Park in Qingdao, China

Panasonic Cold Chain (Dalian) Co., Ltd. Energy-saving Heating Service Project

Clean Energy Heating on Chang’an Campus, College of High Technology, Xi’an University of Technology

SND Resource and Energy Efficiency Networks

Jiangsu Datang Lusi Port Power Plant Heating Reconstruction Phase I Project

The “Sino-German Energy Efficiency Cooperation Projects Award” has been initiated as part of the Sino-German Energy Partnership between the National Development and Reform Commission of the P.R. China (NDRC) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The award aims at selecting and promoting outstanding best practice examples of Sino-German cooperation in the field of energy efficiency and energy conservation. In doing so, the award promotes innovative technology applications, business models and fosters the global transition towards a green and sustainable future.

The award ceremony will take place at the Sino-German Energy Day on February 28th, 2019 in Beijing. The award-winning projects will be honored with certificates and medals in the presence of high-level German and Chinese government officials.
